George earned a Bachelor of Science degree from
California State University completing a major in
kinesiology and sports medicine. At the time George
specialized in the training of track athletes: long
jumpers, hurdlers, sprinters, and triple jumpers.
While earning his degree he served as assistant coach
and conditioning specialist for the Santa Monica
College Women’s Track Team working with Tommie Smith,
Olympic Gold Medalist and team coach. According to
Tommie, his colleague and close friend, “George did more
for the athletes than just train them. He taught them.”

George embodies over twenty five years of professional
experience in the fitness industry as a personal coach
and athletic trainer. He has assisted numerous
individuals, career athletes, and sports enthusiasts to
sharpen their athletic skills and physical awareness.
His current interest rests in the design and application
of a pilates based exercise regiment that will enhance
traditional athletic and sports conditioning techniques
in order to more fully empower athletes so they may
more successfully sustain the spontaneous and
unexpected rigors of sports competition.
It is his strong belief that such a pilates oriented focus
can help amateur and professional athletes achieve
greater balance and equilibrium as well as the
necessary strength, flexibility, and neuromuscular
integration to more adequately avoid the potential
injuries the hazards of rigorous competition invites.
